The Minter network offers reward and loyalty based cryptocurrencies to online user communities. The Minter Network offers online creators and online businesses an easy-to-use cryptocurrency and a new way of interacting with their customers as well as the ability for users to very quickly create their very own cryptocurrency.
Market Demand:
Loyalty programs have a long history dating back to the 1700's however it wasn't until the mid 1980's that loyalty programs got their footing. Today almost every brand has their own loyalty program and well known programs include Amazon Prime, Starbucks Rewards, Apple (Pay), Marriott's loyalty program, Target (REDcard) and many more.
User attention, interaction and loyalty is becoming monetised (see BAT) there is certainly a need for a loyalty based system online. We like this project because of it's ability to very quickly allow developers to create their very own cryptocurrency.
Product Market Fit:
Loyalty programs of the past all suffered from the same issues that plagued digital currency; double spend and centralisation. There is a massive need in the market for this type of project. Their audience is worldwide and applicable to almost any person or business that has an online community or following.
There really is no limit to the use case or number of coins or market this can apply to. Currently minter has created fan coins, reward based coins, fan coins, game credit, loyalty points, etc. The number of uses is limited only by ones imagination. For developers and entrepreneurs, the Minter blockchain also supports multiple client-side apps including iOS/Android wallets, Chrome extension, web apps, etc.
