AC Milan Sponsorships: Kumho Tire Inks Partnership with Another FootBall Club

AC Milan is among the top European FC, with a total of 19 league titles. As a powerhouse of Milan, Italy's football reign, AC Milan has dedicated most of its history to the top flight of Serie A. The club boasts its greatest victories of 18 trophies won at FIFA and UEFA, making it among the top four clubs with many wins. 

The popularity and potential players are the reason that many sponsors have been making the kit for black & reds since early in their debut. The club is getting sponsorships from all around the world, and here's proof of it:

Kumho Tire Sponsorship

Recently, in the first week of July, Kumho Tire, a well-known South Korean Tire-making company, announced a sealed sponsorship deal with the AC Milan football club. 

Kumho Tire CEO Jung Il Taik and AC Milan CRO Giorgio Furlani joined hands to click a photo to commemorate the inked partnership in 2023. The deal was signed at Casa Milan, which is the headquarters of AC Milan FC in Milan. 

The partnership extends straight to five seasons through Series A's 2027-2028 season. According to the deal, the team's owned facilities, online channels and home games will feature Kumho Tire's logo in five different languages. Both sides also came to an agreement to carry out various promotional activities to engage the global fans of AC Milan. 

AC Milan CEO showed high expectations for the new partnership results and business synergy. CEO Jung Il Taik stated during the ceremony that:

"It's a great honor to sign a premium partnership deal with AC Milan, one of the most popular football clubs.

Through the partnership, we will raise our brand awareness in Italy and other overseas markets and ramp up efforts to elevate our premium image."

Kumho Tire also has a history of supporting other popular European Football clubs, including Germany's Bayer 04 Leverkusen, UK's Tottenham Hotspur, and last but not least, Czech Republic's FK Mladá Boleslav.

Just like other football clubs, AC Milan is sponsored and partnered with several multinational companies with some of the names as mentioned below:

Emirates Airlines 

Fly Emirates has been a partner with AC Milan since 2007 till present. The brand has been advertising itself on the front of AC Milan sportswear since 2010, which brought good luck to win Scudetto that year. The club has maintained its glory by winning several Supercoppa titles and other leagues to the present day. 

The club is apparently able to focus on alternative sponsorships for their women's squad and training uniforms thanks to the extended arrangement, which is reportedly worth €10 million per year, which is €4 million less than their prior agreement.

PUMA

In February 2018, it was revealed that Puma, a global leader in sports apparel, will begin providing the Rossoneri with uniforms for the 2018–19 season. 

After a successful twenty-year association, AC Milan opted to part ways with German company Adidas to replace them with Puma. According to reports, the Puma contract is worth €15 million a year.

StarCasinò Sport

The well-known Italian sports entertainment platform the Malta-based StarCasino Media & Entertainment owns has been a Major Partner of AC Milan since September 2017. 

The agreement calls for StarCasino to provide unique content centered around the club. It was great news for the football fans since they could enjoy playing their well-loved online pokies with exclusive AC Milan content. 

This partnership has been renewed in 2020 to extend another three years.
